Mini-O
Mini-O / Micro-O (March 5th)
At 11:00 it will start the last running activity of the weekend and it will be called: Mini-o/Micro-O.
The activity will join the ideas of both event types that are now beginning to spread trough the orienteering world.
Mini-O is based on fast courses in very close scales (smaller than 1:2000) and normally done in smaller than 1000m courses.
Micro-O is a model attached to a middle distance race with additional features, one of them to have 4 controls on the surroundings of only one correct and marked on the map control. The athlete will have to choose the correct control in the terrain.
In this case both models will be used because there will be a small map with a close scale and in each correct map control location there will be several "wrong" controls.
You can ask for more information on the event center or in the model event.
